Cartez of Indianapolis, Indiana wants to make zabaglione so he can eat it as a custard, but is not sure what ingredients to add.


  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • Rind of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 TSP vanilla
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • 1/3 Cup sweet marsala
  • 3/4 Cup heavy cream

Procedure: Add all ingredients except heavy cream into a mixing bowl and wisk over a double boiler until it triples in size.  Remove from heat once it is very frothy, and chill.  In a mixing bowl whip heavy cream to form stiff peaks.  Fold in cream to zabaglione.  Enjoy!
