Brining Liquid

  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Cups White Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup of Pickling Salt
  • 1 TSP Each Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 TSP Mustard Seed
  • 1 TSP Black Pepper Corns

  • 4 Pickling Pickles
  • 4 Sprigs of Fresh Dill
  • 1 TSP Chopped Garlic
  • 1 TSP Horseradish

Procedure:  Boil a mason jar and lid for 10 minutes.  In the mean time add all brine ingredients and bring to a boil.  Once the jar has been sterilized slice the pickles in quarters and add into the jar along with dill, garlic and horseradish.  Pour the brine covering the pickles completely in the mason jar and seal shut.  Place back in the boiling water for 5 minutes.  Let cool completely before eating. Serve cold, enjoy!
