- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 4 Cups fresh cranberries
- 1 Cup toasted pecans
- ½ Cup golden currants
- ½ Cup black currants
- 1 TSP cinnamon
- 1 TSP allspice
Procedure: In a pot mix together water and sugar and bring it to a boil. Once the mixture is at a boil add in the fresh cranberries. Once added, let simmer for roughly 10 minutes. One may notice the mixture will start to thicken. Once the cranberries have popped and the mixture is thick place in a mixing bowl. Fold in all other ingredients and chill. The cranberry sauce will thicken even more once it is cooled. Enjoy!
