Garlic and Fresh Basil Hamburgers

FIXED RECIPE

  • 1 1/2 Pounds Ground Lean Meat
  • 1 Ounce Butter
  • 3 TBS Chopped Garlic
  • 2 TBS Chopped Basil
  • 4 Ounces Unsalted Butter
  • Onion Rolls
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Red Onion
  • Green Leaf Lettuce
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste

Procedure: Start by pressing down the 1 ounce butter patty with your hands and place the chopped garlic on top.  Transfer the butter garlic patty to a skillet on medium heat.  Cook until you smell the garlic.  Next add the garlic butter to a bowl with the ground meat, basil, salt, pepper and mix well.  Melt the 4 ounce butter stick in a pan and set aside.  Form the hamburger mixture into 6-8 Ounce patties and place on the grill on high heat, constantly brushing the burgers with the melted butter that was set aside.  Cook to desired temperature.  Serve with sliced onion and tomatoes with green leaf lettuce on an onion roll.  Enjoy!
