Flourless Chocolate Cake

  • 7 Ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 3/4 Cup butter
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 4 Eggs, separated

Procedure: In a double boiler melt chocolate and butter.  In a mixing bowl beat egg yolks and half of the sugar and fold in melted butter and chocolate mixture.  Beat egg whites until stiff peaks and fold in remaining sugar.  Add all mixtures together and pour batter into 9 inch cake round that is greased and floured.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.  Note that the cake will fall because there is no flour.   Let cool and enjoy!
