Country Sausage Gravy

  • 1 TBS Butter
  • 1 TBS Chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 of 1 Chopped Sweet Onion
  • 8 Ounces of Country Sausage
  • 4 TBS Flour
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 TSP Fresh Sage
  • 1 TSP Fresh Thyme
  • Tabasco To Taste
  • Lea & Perrins To Taste
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste

Procedure: In a sauce pan add in butter and caramelize onions and garlic.  Once they are cooked add in sausage and cook through out.  Next add in flour and coat everything in the pan with flour by stirring it.  Next add in milk and cream and stir until thick.  Next add in all other herbs and seasonings to taste.  Serve hot and if you are feeling froggy make some biscuits and pour this right on the top.  Enjoy!
