  • 2 Cups A.P. Flour
  • 2 TSP Baking Powder
  • 1/4 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 4 Ounces Cold Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
  • Melted Butter To Taste

Procedure:  Sift together all dry ingredients and whisk to combine.  Cut in butter until it is the size of rice.  Add in buttermilk in 3 separate batches and make sure it is completely combined but take care to not over work.  On a lightly floured surface roll dough until no less then 1 inch thick.  Using a cookie cutter or glass, form buttermilk biscuits and place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and glaze with melted butter.  Put in the oven on 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or golden brown.  Enjoy!
